RANCHI: A large number of students who failed Jharkhand Academic Council class exam 12 or got lower grades held a protest in Doranda and near the residence of the state minister of education.

Students sit in Dharna on the roads demanding a new exam.

According to the students, the results were prepared based on the result of class 11 and they were declared failed or they were given lower grades.

A delegation of students even met with the minister and gave him their memorandum on the matter.

Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) student leader Ravi Kumar said: “The results stated by the Jharkhand Academic Council need to be re-evaluated. Students who study scored lower compared to those who study less according to previous records. So this is wrong. “

One student, Anu Kumari, said, “I was passed in class 11, but now I have been failed. Now admission has started and where could I get admission?”

Speaking to ANI Jharkhand’s Education Minister, Jagarnath Mahto said: “There is a complaints cell. Those who have failed should go there and seek information. They submit objections and concerns in writing, responses will be given only in writing.”
