The Ministry has also highlighted that from the moment the new agreement comes into force and whenever employers plan to hire workers from India, they must inform the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP), which will transmit said proposal to the authorities. . Earlier this month, the Union Cabinet approved the agreement between Portugal and India on the recruitment of Indian citizens to work in the European country.
