Jharkhand’s combined civil services preliminary examination, which was previously scheduled for Sept. 12, will now take place on Sept. 19, the state public service commission said, JPSC said in an official notice. The Commission had initially scheduled the exam for May 2, however it was later postponed.

More details about the exam will be posted on the official website, jpsc.gov.in, as the Commission has informed the candidates.

The Jharkhand Civil Services Combined Exam 2021 was notified in February. Through this exam, a total of 245 vacancies will be filled. Of the total number of vacancies, 44 are for the assistant collector position, 40 for the position of deputy police inspector, 16 for the position of district coordinator, 2 for each of the superintendent and deputy director of the jail positions, 65 for the post of Assistant City Commissioner, 41 for the Jharkhand II Education Service, 10 for the post of Junior Clerk, 6 for the post of Registrar Assistant, 9 for the post of Planning Officer and 17 for the post of Officer parole.
