NEW DELHI: “We do not know what is happening in the state”, the Supreme Court he said Friday in an adverse comment on Jharkhand modifying the fixed two-year term of your DGP and the hasty appointment of another without following the procedure established by the higher court.

Sibal said the state government has written to UPSC six times to request a naming panel, but UPSC has refused to do so saying Jharkhand had apparently violated SOUTH CAROLINA instructions, the state must obtain an order from the Supreme Court.
