The alleged accident of a Jharkhand judge has taken a chilling turn after CCTV footage of the scene suggested a tempo driver deliberately ran it off.

The alleged accident of a judge in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad has taken a chilling turn after CCTV footage of the scene revealed that he was deliberately run over by a tempo driver during his morning walk.

Giridih police have arrested the driver of the car in the Dhanbad district murder case and the additional judge Uttam Anand. Two assistants to the driver of the car were also captured from Giridih, while the tempo was also seized.

The new CCTV footage shows the Jharkhand judge jogging along the edge of the road as the pace begins to move from the middle of the road to the sidewalk, even when the entire road appears empty.

The tempo is then seen knocking down the judge and accelerating as he lies motionless on the edge of the road. Time recorded on CCTV footage shows that the incident took place around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, the Dhanbad judge was presumed to have died in a traffic accident. However, after CCTV footage came to light, a murder angle has come to light. Police discovered that stolen tempo was used to run over the judge.

His body was taken to Shivpuri in Hazaribagh and will be cremated on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has asked the Supreme Court to take note of its motu for the murder of Dhanbad District Judge Uttam Anand. The SCBA has said that CCTV images of the area must be recorded.

“This is an attack on the independence of the judiciary. This looks like a premeditated attack on the judge, ”the SCBA said.

The Chief Justice of Jharkhand has told the police that if the investigation is unsuccessful, it could be turned over to the IWC.
