Indian cricket fraternity extends its New Years greetings |  Cricket news
NEW DELHI: India Test skipper Virat Kohli extended his New Years greetings on Saturday.
On his Twitter, Virat posted a photo with the Indian Test team and wrote: “We hope everyone will be blessed with joy and happiness this new year. We send you our love and positivity.”

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also wished everyone a happy and healthy new year.
“That time of year when we will make 2021 2022. Time to restart! We wish you all a happy and healthy New Year 2022,” Tendulkar tweeted.

Former India hitter Gautam Gambhir also extended his greetings, writing: “This new year, let your fears fade and go for what you want with everything you have. One life, live it without regrets! # HappyNewYear2022”.

The spinner from India, Ravichandran Ashwin, extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of the New Year.
On his Twitter, Ashwin posted a photo of the India team in Johannesburg and wrote: “New Year, New Hope! I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2022. #HappyNewYear.”

Meanwhile, former India head coach Ravi Shastri posted a video of him dancing with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.
“#HappyNewYear! Going into 2022 be like … thanks for the dance tips @RanveerOfficial. May 2022 will be a wonderful, healthy and inspiring year for each of you,” Shastri tweeted.

Former off-roader Irfan Pathan wanted new expectations for the new year.
“The new year brings new expectations, may everyone have their expectations fulfilled in 2022. #HappyNewYear” Irfan tweeted.

Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag also wrote: “2020 and 2021 have been many challenging years. Wishing 2022 has much easier and good health for everyone. I wish you a very Happy New Year.”

Former India hitter VVS Laxman wished ‘new learnings’ and ‘new memories’ to everyone this time around.
“For a new year, a new journey, new learnings and new memories. I wish you a happy, safe and healthy New Year. Happy New Year,” Laxman tweeted.

Team India will face South Africa for the second test on January 3 in Johannesburg.
The visitors currently hold a 1-0 lead in the test series, after the historic triumph at Centurion.
