The debate over the next T20I captain from India is intensifying with various pundits and experts voicing their opinions on the right man to replace current skipper Virat Kohli, who will step down after the ongoing T20 World Cup. Former Indian pacemaker Ashish Nehra has drawn up his pick for the next Indian captain in T20I. While Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have become the pioneers to replace Virat, Nehra supported pacemaker Jasprit Bumrah.

To back up her claim, Nehra explained that Bumrah is part of XI’s replay in all formats. He further explained that Bumrah has all the qualities to become a leader.
