Jamshedpur, Aug 28: Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, a power generation company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jharkhand government to establish an industrial park in Jharkhand. The company will invest Rs.1 900 million.
The MoU was signed during the launch ceremony of the Jharkhand Investment and Industrial Promotion Policy 2021 at the Investors Meeting hosted by the Department of Industries in New Delhi on Saturday.
On behalf of Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, Sachin Kumar Agarwal, while the Secretary of Industries, Pooja Singhal, signed the MoU on behalf of the Government of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Mahesh Agarwal, Director of Adhunik Power, were also present on the occasion.
Adhunik Power Director Mahesh Agarwal said that Adhunik Power is very interested in being a part of the development in Jharkhand. He added that Adhunik Power will always participate in the development of Jharkhand in the future as well. The CEO of the company (link), Arun Kumar, also participated in the investor meeting. On this occasion, Development Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary L. Khingyate, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Residential Commissioner Mastram Meena, Secretary Avinash Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey , the Director of Industries Jitendra Kumar Singh and the industrialists and their representatives were present.
